VJS Construction Services has finished work for Wauwatosa School District’s new and renovated schools. New construction and school improvements were part of the approved $124.9 million, 2018 Wauwatosa School District facilities referendum.
The referendum allowed the district to modernize aging schools and replace its four elementary schools built in the early 1900s with new construction, with two schools maintaining historic architectural features. The district’s aging schools received accessibility, safety, security, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning upgrades as well as installation of flexible, collaborative learning spaces.
The district engaged VJS Construction Services as construction manager and Plunkett Raysich Architects as architect.
