Recently, local media gathered at Grede Park to receive an update on the Waukesha Parade Memorial, a project dedicated to honoring the victims of the tragic holiday parade.
The memorial, which will serve as a place of remembrance and reflection, is set for a formal dedication on November 21, marking the third anniversary of the heartbreaking event. During the visit, media representatives had the opportunity to speak with key figures involved in the memorial's construction, including Joe Jorgensen, Partner and Project Manager, and Juan Mares, Jr., Cement Finisher. Both shared insights into the project’s progress and how their teams are working to ensure the memorial is a meaningful and lasting tribute to the lives affected by the tragedy.
