PROJECT SCOPE
The U.S. Federal Courthouse Renovation project, a Historic Renovation Public Heritage Award Winner for outstanding achievement in historic renovation, encompassed two major phases: preserving and enhancing this historic landmark. The first phase was a $5 million, 30,000-square-foot renovation, modernizing courtrooms and judges’ quarters with new security desks, judges’ benches, counters, and custom architectural millwork. The second phase, a $7.8 million renovation, focused on critical infrastructure upgrades, including major elevator and HVAC improvements and various enhancements throughout the courthouse. These projects ensured the building’s functionality, security, and historic integrity.
