Gary/Chicago International Airport, New Hangar

PROJECT SCOPE

This new hangar consisted of a 16,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building with a masonry façade. The scope included a 3,867 square foot, two-story office and shop space, an eight-inch concrete slab floor with epoxy, a snow melting system in the apron, and a 120’ x 28’ rolling door system. The hangar consisted of a specialized air rotation heating system and a water fire suppression system.
