Lake Tahoe Airport, New Hangar (Consulting)

PROJECT SCOPE

This project included consulting services on a 27,707-square-foot, two-story building, including a 7,591-square-foot hangar, 2,797-square-foot kitchen, and 1,477 square feet for ground service equipment. The upper level includes 5,808 square feet of white box space and a 3,054-square-foot green roof.

Hangar doors include a 60’ x 27’ six-leaf bi-parting Norco door and a 34’ x 12’ four-leaf bi-parting door. The VJS Lincoln team collaborated with the Truckee airport authority, refining the hangar design and additional spaces.
